If the installation participates in an eligible MRV system:
- Suppose the MRV system’s reporting period aligns with CBAM requirements (at least three months). In that case, the operator can choose between reporting based on the MRV system reporting period or default/alternative CBAM reporting periods.
- If the MRV system’s reporting period does not align with CBAM requirements, the operator should choose default/alternative CBAM reporting periods.
